On January 27th, The 1st Annual Bingwa Homeschool Group Science Fair was hosted by Kidato International School. The science fair was attended by students from Kidato and homeschoolers from all over Kenya, including a video entry from a student in Nakuru. Among the winners were students from Kidato, the Bingwa Homeschooling Group and the Sky School.

By participating in the science fair, the students were able to demonstrate their creativity and the attendees were able to witness the students' innovative spirits. Over 100 students, parents, and educators gathered to witness the amazing projects that the students came up with.

At Kidato, we believe in providing a supportive and engaging learning environment where students can thrive. Our dedicated teachers and staff are committed to helping each child reach their full potential and develop a lifelong love for learning.

The success of the science fair was a testament to the hard work and dedication of all the students and the support of their teachers and parents. The kids did most of the work, with the teachers and parents available to provide guidance and support. The result was a day filled with excitement, learning, and discovery.

The projects presented at the science fair cut across various experiments showcasing the students' creativity and scientific knowledge. From exploring the effect of buoyancy and gravity on peeled and unpeeled oranges to conducting volcano reaction experiments, to testing probability using a probability color wheel, the students demonstrated their understanding of scientific concepts in innovative ways.

Teamwork makes the dream work.

One of the highlights of the science fair was the game development project using code, which was done by one of the winners from Kidato. Another brilliant project by a student from the homeschooling community focused on climate and environmental sustainability, showcasing the students' awareness of the world around them and their commitment to making a positive impact.

We are proud of our students and the impact that Kidato is having on their lives. We aim to foster a love for learning and discovery in every child, and participation in events like the science fair are just one of the many ways we achieve this goal.

If you are a parent or prospective parent looking for a place where your child can grow, learn, and thrive, look no further than Kidato. Our dedicated teachers, staff, and administrators ensure that each child reaches their full potential and develops a lifelong love for learning.
